The founding year

Luxury is a part of our history, taking into account the mutual influence between the Damascene cuisine and the history of the city.

Our great-grandfather, Deeb Bin Muhammad Kweider 1277–1371 AH / 1860–1951 CE, established the family business in the production of sweets by choosing the Midan neighborhood — the family's birthplace and one of the most famous areas of Damascus.

With passion and love for the making of luxurious oriental sweets, Kweider brand was established in Damascus to be the first brand that is a pioneer in the making of authentic Arabic sweets. With a fully-equipped factory and several branches, we produce high-end varieties with fresh and high-quality raw materials — authentic Arabic ghee and luxurious nuts, such as pistachio, cashew, and walnut.

We offer more than 30 types of sweets with various ingredients to meet the needs of our customers inside and outside Syria. We have also been pioneers of oriental sweets in the MENA region, thus fulfilling the aspirations of authentic Arabic flavors all around the world.

Our ambition didn't end there. Kweider expanded its range of operations to include a full Damascene cuisine that specializes in traditional oriental dishes and iconic foods from the heart of Damascus.
